John Maher (ND, Dip.Herb, m.IRH, m.INA)
John Maher is a qualified Herbalist and Naturopath and currently lives and works
from Rathfarnham in Dublin. He is a active member of groups and associations
representing Herbal Medicine in Ireland.
in assuring the future of Herbal Medicine is secure as a profession. One of his
roles with the IRH is the promotion of Herbalism and Herbalists (especially
ensuring that IRH members adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and Professional
Stardards so that the highest standards of herbal practice can be guaranteed to
the public.

Outside Gorey in Co. Wexford he has his own Herbal Garden where he grows many of species of herbs and
plants. Although John does grow some naturalised species he prides himself on indigenous species and
the preservation of the plants from our local ecosystems. He is very passionate about this and invites
